A Date for Your Diary – Alderney Fly-in
Friday 4th – Sunday 6th September 2026

Now in its 33rd year, the annual Alderney Fly-in has always been a favourite destination for pilots and their passenger. Last year 27 pilots made it to Alderney for the 2025 Fly-in. They came from the UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, and of course Jersey and Guernsey. Unlike 2024 when adverse weather conditions in the UK and Europe resulted in many cancellations, the weather conditions in 2025 were near perfect, allowing our visitors, around 65 in total, to enjoy the attractions Alderney has to offer.
Judging by the feedback that we received, everyone had a great time. But, it was the Chair of the Guernsey Aero Club, Emma Le Bretton, who we feel best summed-up the 2025 Alderney Fly-in:
“On behalf of Team Le Breton, I would just like to thank you all for the incredible amount of work and for making us feel so welcome at the Fly In this weekend. As ever, we had a fantastic time, met up with some great friends (both old and new) and really enjoyed spending time in your super Island. Already looking forward to next year!”

Avgas 100LL & Duty Free Availability:
Avgas 100LL:
Currently, AVGAS 100LL and JET-A1 are not available in Alderney, a situation that is unlikely to change for the time being. In the circumstances, ASG, the Guernsey FBO, has kindly agreed to waive their normal handling fees for for any Fly-in aircraft refuelling in Guernsey over the Fly-in weekend. However, pilots will still need to pay the appropriate landing fee (which ASG collects on behalf of Guernsey Ports).
Pilots planning to refuel in Guernsey, should request clearance from ATC to taxi to ASG on arrival in Guernsey. They should also make it known to ASG personnel that they are Fly-In participants in order to avoid paying a handling charge.
For the current prices of aviation fuel at Guernsey Airport see our ‘Pilot Info’ page.
Duty Free:
If you plan to refuel in Guernsey, ASG offers good selection of Duty Free items at particularly competitive prices, the savings on which could help offset the landing fee. View a copy of the ASG Order Form here to see a list of the spirits, cigarettes, and tobacco ASG have available.
Hard copies of the ASG Order Form will be available from the AFC Meet & Greet Team on arrival and at departure.
